Aimee provence High Tea Café All-Rounder – Front of House & Kitchen

About the role

This is an all-rounder position at a boutique high tea parlour. You will be involved in all areas of the business — from welcoming guests and serving high teas to preparing food, making coffees and teas, assisting in the kitchen, setting up functions and helping keep the venue beautifully presented.

Key responsibilities

• Providing warm and professional customer service
• Serving high teas, food and beverages
• Making barista coffee and speciality teas
• Preparing and plating food
• Assisting with sandwiches, scones, desserts and other high tea preparation
• Setting up high tea stands and tables
• Preparing the venue for functions, baby showers, bridal showers and special events
• Clearing tables, washing dishes and general kitchen duties
• Cleaning and maintaining a high standard of presentation throughout the venue
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures

• Reliable and punctual
• Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with customers
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Happy to work both front of house and in the kitchen
• Well presented with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive and able to see what needs doing without always being asked
• A genuine team player
• Calm and organised during busy services
• Available to work weekends
• Flexible to assist with functions and events when required
