Full-time, 38 hours a week – Ongoing
This is an Aboriginal Designated Position, classified under 'special measures' of Section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010. Only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are eligible to apply.
About the Role
The Graduate ICT Support Officer supports the delivery of timely and effective ICT services to staff, Board members, volunteers, members and visitors of RAC and RHL.
Working under the guidance of the ICT team, the role assists with the provision of technical support, troubleshooting, equipment setup and maintenance of hardware and software systems. The position provides an opportunity for a recent graduate to develop practical ICT skills while contributing to the effective operation of the organisation's technology environment.
This role is designed as a development opportunity, with clear supervision arrangements and limited delegated authority.
About You
To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
Have a Certificate IV, Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related field, or nearing completion of a relevant qualification.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, networking and Microsoft operating systems.
Demonstrated interest in information technology and supporting users in a service-oriented environment.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to learning new technologies and systems.
