The team is committed to client satisfaction through personalized service, practical problem-solving, and consistent delivery of projects on time and within budget.Role Description The Senior Project Manager / Superintendent is a full-time, on-site position based in Sydney, NSW. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of civil subdivision projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring that work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing construction programs, supervising site activities and contractors, monitoring quality and safety standards, and coordinating with consultants, authorities, and client representatives. The role also involves reviewing designs and documentation, resolving on-site issues, managing risks, and reporting project status, costs, and progress to stakeholders. The successful candidate will foster strong relationships with clients and project teams, drive continuous improvement, and support the strategic growth of Sierra PM’s subdivision portfolio.Qualifications Proven experience in civil subdivision construction project management and site supervision, ideally as a Senior Project Manager or Superintendent.Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, and cost control, including budget management, program development, and progress tracking.Demonstrated capability in contractor and stakeholder management, including coordination of site teams, consultants, and external authorities.Sound knowledge of civil construction methods, subdivision infrastructure, and relevant Australian standards, codes, and local regulations.Commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality management, with experience implementing and monitoring HSEQ processes on site.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions and manage disputes constructively.Proficiency with construction and project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar scheduling software, MS Office, digital site reporting systems).Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.Current driver’s license and ability to work on-site across the greater Sydney region.Experience working with land subdivision property developers and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget is highly regarded.
