The Inquest Support Officer provides administrative and paralegal support to Counsel Assisting at the Coroner’s Court. Support includes assisting with case management, document and hearing coordination, preparing inquest material, stakeholder engagement and offering other procedural support throughout the inquest lifecycle as required.
In addition, the position provides advice on Coroner’s Court practice and procedures to a range of stakeholders; and will exercise all statutory powers as a Coroner’s Registrar as prescribed in the Coroners Act 1996 and delegated by the State Coroner.

To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
