About the role:

Manage property and mortgage settlements across a broad portfolio of lending transactions from initial instruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing residential mortgagee in possession sale contracts, negotiating agency agreements and completing settlements in PEXA.
• Reviewing loan, mortgage and security documentation before settlement.
• Preparing settlement figures, checklists and completion documentation.
• Managing electronic settlements through PEXA.
• Maintaining accurate files and providing regular updates to clients.
• Identifying and escalating potential issues that may affect settlement.

The ideal candidate:

• An admitted lawyer with experience in property settlements, conveyancing, mortgage transactions or banking and finance.
• Strong knowledge of PEXA and electronic settlement processes.
• Experience reviewing property, loan or security documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Confident communicating with clients, solicitors, lenders and other stakeholders.
• Commercial, organised and comfortable working within a fast-paced transactional environment.
