Service and Warranty Supervisor

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Service and Warranty Supervisor to oversee maintenance inspections and coordinate the timely rectification of defects across new and existing homes within the warranty period.

Working across an allocated region, you will assess maintenance concerns against relevant building standards, determine the appropriate course of action and coordinate subcontractors and internal resources to achieve quality outcomes.

You will also:

• Undertake 6 and 12-month maintenance inspections and assess defects against applicable standards and tolerances.

• Inspect structural and general maintenance concerns, identify causation and determine the appropriate rectification approach.

• Compile inspection findings and allocate works to the appropriate trades.

• Coordinate maintenance bookings, subcontractors and internal resources to support timely completion.

• Oversee the Maintenance Officer and subcontractors to ensure quality and efficient outcomes.

• Identify recurring defects and report trends to the Maintenance Manager.

• Assist with warranty rectification works where a hands-on approach is required.

• Maintain Ausbuild display properties and coordinate works required before client handover.

• Oversee the maintenance and organisation of the storage warehouse.

• Assist with Head Office maintenance requirements as needed.

• Participate in a rotating roster for security and after-hours emergency calls.

• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, trades and internal stakeholders.

The Person

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A trade qualification and White Card.

• Sound knowledge of residential construction, the BCA, Australian Standards and tolerances.

• Experience in maintenance, warranty or defect rectification within the building industry.

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and experience using construction or CRM systems.

• A practical, proactive approach with strong attention to detail.

• A commitment to quality workmanship and positive customer outcomes.
