Senior Contracts Administrator

Gamuda Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our Stations Package West (SPW) project. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute professional who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions.
About the Role:Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager, you will work as part of a high-performing commercial team comprising Assistant Contract Administrators through to Senior Contract Administrators.The project involves complex stakeholder interfaces across internal teams, contractors, authorities and third parties. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, emotional intelligence, negotiation skills and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:Manage downstream procurement and subcontract administrationAdminister contracts, variations and commercial changeManage payment claims and assessmentsPrepare and coordinate end-of-month commercial reportingManage time and cost claimsSupport procurement and contracting strategiesManage commercial interfaces with subcontractors, authorities and third partiesEnsure contractual obligations and project requirements are effectively managed
About You:We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, resilience and a proactive approach to problem solving.
The following experience is highly desirable:Rail, station construction or station fit-out experienceMEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire) procurement and contract administrationBuilding fit-out, façade and/or landscaping procurement and contract administration
You will also demonstrate:Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsExcellent negotiation and problem-solving capabilityStrong commercial and contractual understandingThe ability to work effectively in a complex project environmentA collaborative, solutions-focused approach
