Senior Contracts Administrator

Gamuda Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our Stations Package West (SPW) project. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute professional who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions.

About the Role:

Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager, you will work as part of a high-performing commercial team comprising Assistant Contract Administrators through to Senior Contract Administrators.

The project involves complex stakeholder interfaces across internal teams, contractors, authorities and third parties. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, emotional intelligence, negotiation skills and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage downstream procurement and subcontract administration
• Administer contracts, variations and commercial change
• Manage payment claims and assessments
• Prepare and coordinate end-of-month commercial reporting
• Manage time and cost claims
• Support procurement and contracting strategies
• Manage commercial interfaces with subcontractors, authorities and third parties
• Ensure contractual obligations and project requirements are effectively managed

About You:

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, resilience and a proactive approach to problem solving.

The following experience is highly desirable:

• Rail, station construction or station fit-out experience
• MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire) procurement and contract administration
• Building fit-out, façade and/or landscaping procurement and contract administration

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving capability
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding
• The ability to work effectively in a complex project environment
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
