Medical Health & Vitality is a medical clinic based in Sandringham. We are currently looking for a medical receptionist Thursday 8.30 – 5.00 pm. You will be working alongside a General Practitioner specialising in integrative health, women's health, and dermatology.

About the Role:

At reception, your responsibilities involve creating a welcoming and professional environment for patients. Greeting and maintaining rapport with patients is essential to fostering an atmosphere where they feel cared for. You will need to have a polite demeanor over the phone as you manage appointments and record patient inquiries. Additionally, you will liaise with the doctor to complete tasks and provide updates on patient statuses.

About You:

Previous experience in a reception or customer service role is desirable but not necessary, as this role requires excellent communication and organisational skills. Effectively multitasking and managing your time with various tasks is crucial to the smooth operation of our clinic. It is important that you are tech confident and can manage emails, phone calls and our software system Best Practice. Additionally, a high level of confidentiality and professionalism is required for this position. You will be working with patients who may sometimes be anxious, so maintaining a calm and friendly approach is essential.

Basic familiarity with Best Practice software is required.
