About the role

MacKillop Catholic College, Johnston NT is inviting applications from passionate and enthusiastic Year 7 Specialist Teachers to join the College in 2027. MacKillop is on schedule to complete a brand-new Year 7 building for the 2027 school year, providing an exciting opportunity for teachers to be part of a dedicated Year 7 learning environment. The role focuses on working with students in the important transition from primary to secondary education and inspiring students across the core areas of the curriculum.

About you

• Passionate about working with students in the transition from primary to secondary education

• Capable of inspiring students across the core curriculum areas

• Focused on quality teaching, strong relationships and student formation

Our full-time Year 7 Specialist Teachers will have:

• 17 hours of face-to-face teaching per week

• 8 hours of non-contact/release time
