Venue Managers /Assistant Venue Managers

The Grounds Group are looking for the next leaders in our business as we move into our busiest time of year.

With new venues on the horizon we have opportunities across the group for Venue Managers and Assistant Venue Managers to join our team.

Who are you?

You are driven, passionate and focused and you will possess the following attributes:

Venue Manager

• Minimum 3 years experience as venue manager or similar high volume position.

• Strong financial and business acumen.

• Full P&L responsibility experience is essential

• Monitor forecasts, making sure that services and labour are adapted to reach financial targets.

• Oversee all operational requirements of the business with the support of the senior leadership team.

• Strength in training and development highly regarded

Assistant Venue Manager

• Minimum 2 years as a floor manager or supervisor.

• Experienced in a fast paced environment with the skills to develop staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships.

• A proven track record of leading high performing teams.

• Excellent communication - written and verbal.

• A leader who inspires and motivates. You are creative and will bring that creativity to our venues.

The Role:

You will be responsible for creating something magical from day one:

• Plan and implement standards of service and a training schedule to ensure the high performance of the whole team.

• This is not an office job! You will be on the floor leading your team by example and inspiring them to be the very best.

• Of course you have full availability - weekends and public holidays.
