PCA with MS Experience

A Lady with MS needing support. 2 people every shift. Feeding, bed washing, light cleaning.

We are seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced Disability Support Workers to provide in-home and community-based support to participants and their families across Preston

Hours and Availability

Shifts 7am to 10am, 1pm to 4pm, and 7pm to 11pm.

Must be willing to read the bible and to discuss it.

About the Roles

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced PCA.  You will assist with daily living activities, mobility support, and social engagement while promoting independence and dignity. Most importantly, we are looking for genuine, warm and caring people who truly want to help participants and their families live their best lives. Skills and experience are important, but so are kindness, patience, empathy and the ability to make each person feel safe, valued and understood.

What You’ll Do:

Provide tailored personal care and support to individuals

Do exercises, go to markets, and other social events
Support social and community engagement to enhance quality of life
Work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ Experience working with individuals 
✔️ A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to support
✔️ Cert III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services (or equivalent experience)
✔️ Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
✔️ NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check
✔️ National Police Check & Valid Driver’s License
✔️ Strong communication skills and a commitment to client-centered care
