About Your New Role
As part of our part-time Blackburn Team, you will be assisting customers with complex needs in Day Services and In-Home Supports. Our Disability Support Workers are the forefront of delivering exceptional care and implementing innovative strategies to help customers overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential.

By joining our team, you'll partner with experts who are passionate about offering specialised training opportunities, ensuring that you have the tools needed to enhance the support we provide.

About You

• Demonstrate high levels of expertise in complex support environments including in home support, social clubs and community access
• Experience in manual handling and providing personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing
• Provide effective communication and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
• Experience with health support, mealtime assistance, medication assistance including epilepsy management and diabetes management
• Have previous experience in implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts and respond to the needs of customers

Requirements

• Current Driver's Licence (P2 Minimum)
• Paid Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Current First Aid and CPR
