Disability Support Worker

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Morayfield team, assisting customers to be independent and to meet their full potential. This opportunity is for casual and part-time positions that will support a range of shifts including afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.

About Your New Role
As a member of our disability services team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring quality care and independence is embedded in the supports provided and work closely with internal and external stakeholders in facilitating innovative strategies to help customers overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential. There are casual and part-time roles located in Morayfield. In this role, you will support individuals with a disability in a friendly Supported Independent Living (SIL) home, helping them live independently and achieve their personal goals.

About You

• Proven experience supporting clients with complex behaviours and Positive Behaviour Support plans (Mandatory)
• An empathetic person who has a genuine passion for supporting individuals with a disability
• Experience with health support, mealtime assistance, medication administration and manual handling
• Ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations

Requirements

• Availability to work across a variety of shifts including night shifts
• A current Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
• Paid Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
