Hawthorne Skin & Beauty is evolving, and we’re searching for an experienced and passionate therapist ready to step into a supportive and driven Brisbane salon known for its exceptional client care, attention to detail, along with ethical and results-driven treatments.

We’re looking for someone with 3-5 years or more hands-on salon experience and feels confident in brow and lash treatments. A love for waxing tanning and eager to grow and excel in treating wide range of skin concerns. Do you enjoy learning and want to work with cutting-edge technologies such as IPL, Alma Opus radiofrequency micro-plasma & Skin Needling.

ABOUT YOU

• A minimum Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy

• 3-5+ years’ experience in a salon/clinic environment

• Confidence in Brows, Lash Lifting, Waxing and Tanning

• Experience in assessing and treating all skin types and conditions

• Hands on experience in facials and preferably have knowledge with professional peels otherwise training will be provided. Must be confident in treatments plans.

• Nice to have is knowledge and experience with advanced modalities including IPL, radiofrequency, skin needling and/or a willingness to learn these with confidence.

• A passion for skin health and caring for clients and confidence in treatment planning, retail recommending and rebooking.

JOB ROLE SPECIFICS

Hours: This role will start at 30.5+ hours - there will be flexibility in these hours for the right candidate, however 2 late nights until 7.30pm are a must as we do not trade on Saturdays. This is a growth role so if you desire full-time hours, we would love to work with you to make this possible or if part time is all you require your casual contract will transfer to part time after a month.

• Monday: 9.30am - 5.00pm. Required

• Tuesday: 9.30am – 7.30pm. Required

• Wednesday: 9.30am – 7.30pm. Flexible

• Thursday: 9.30am – 7.30pm. Flexible

• Friday: 9:30am – 5:00pm. Required

Location: 250 Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne QLD (free all-day street parking)
