About Schoolola

Schoolola is a fast-growing tutoring centre committed to helping students build strong foundations in English and Mathematics. We provide high-quality tutoring programs, small group classes, NAPLAN preparation, scholarship preparation and personalised learning support for students from Prep to Year 8.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, motivated and passionate tutors who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact on students' academic growth and confidence.

About the Role

As a Schoolola Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging English and Mathematics lessons, supporting student learning, and helping students achieve their academic goals in a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching English and/or Mathematics to students from Prep to Year 8.
• Delivering lessons based on Schoolola's structured curriculum and resources.
• Supporting students with classwork, problem-solving and skill development.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the Centre Manager.
• Creating a positive, engaging and encouraging classroom environment.
• Assisting students with NAPLAN, Scholarship and Selective School preparation.
• Managing small group learning sessions effectively.
• Maintaining professional communication with centre management and parents when required.
• Ensuring all students remain focused, motivated and supported during classes.
• Supporting classroom administration, attendance and student record keeping.
• Following Schoolola's teaching standards, policies and procedures.

About You

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Confident in teaching English, Mathematics or both.
• Well organised and able to manage small groups of students.
• Strong communicators with excellent English skills.
• Positive role models for young learners.

Essential Requirements

• Currently studying at university, recently graduated, or studying Years 10-12 with strong academic results.
• Strong knowledge of English and/or Mathematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one.
• Available to work weekdays between 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
• Ability to travel to our Truganina/Werribee Centre.
