The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Performance Engineer to join CloudMarc for an upcoming client engagement.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong performance testing expertise with JMeter, combined with practical Playwright automation experience.
You’ll work closely with engineering, quality and delivery teams to design and execute performance testing while contributing to broader test automation across modern web applications and APIs.
What You’ll Be DoingDesign, develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeterExecute load, stress, scalability and endurance testingAnalyse performance results and identify application or infrastructure bottlenecksDevelop and maintain automated tests using PlaywrightPerform API and integration-level performance testingWork with developers and engineering teams to investigate performance issuesIntegrate performance and automated testing into CI/CD pipelinesMonitor and report key performance metrics, trends and risksContribute to continuous improvement across Quality Engineering practices
What We’re Looking ForStrong commercial experience in Performance Engineering / Performance TestingAdvanced hands-on experience with Apache JMeterCommercial automation experience using PlaywrightStrong understanding of web application and API testingExperience designing performance test scenarios and workload modelsAbility to analyse test results and diagnose performance bottlenecksExperience working with CI/CD and modern engineering environmentsStrong understanding of software testing and Quality Engineering practicesExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
Highly RegardedExperience with JavaScript/TypeScript, API automation, cloud environments, observability/APM tools and large-scale enterprise applications will be highly regarded.
