About The Role

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Mackay.

Lead the establishment and day-to-day operations of the centre, managing a multidisciplinary team and key stakeholders while ensuring high-quality, person-centred mental health service delivery.

Duties

Lead the Medicare Mental Health Centre Mackay team and day-to-day program delivery.Ensure safe, efficient and high-quality consumer care and support.Oversee clinical and psychosocial service delivery in line with the Centre model.Drive best practice, quality outcomes and effective service performance.

Skills & Experience

Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in a mental health discipline (e.g. allied health, peer work, health promotion, Aboriginal health, nursing) or similarHas experience in mental health or community service management rolesDemonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teamsStrong interpersonal, communication, influencing and consultation skills
