Orthodontic experience is highly regarded, however it isn't essential. If you're an experienced Dental Assistant with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to learn, we'll provide the training and support to help you develop your specialist orthodontic skills.

About the Role

Working closely with our orthodontists and clinical team, you will help deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring our clinics run efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Chairside assisting during orthodontic procedures

• Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical equipment

• Instrument sterilisation and maintaining infection control standards

• Supporting and reassuring patients throughout their appointments

• Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice

• Working collaboratively with the wider clinical and reception team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous Dental Assisting experience (orthodontic experience is highly regarded but not essential)

• Enjoys working with children, teenagers and families

• Is organised, reliable and has excellent attention to detail

• Communicates confidently and professionally with patients and colleagues

• Thrives in a busy clinical environment

• Is proactive, adaptable and enjoys being part of a collaborative team

• Takes pride in delivering an exceptional patient experience

• Can work across all three practice locations as required

Location & Hours

Flexible full-time roster

• 4-day week (approximately 35 hours) or a 9-day fortnight

• Clinic hours: 7:45am – 5:15pm

You'll work across our three locations:

• Burwood East

• Doncaster East

• Lilydale

The majority of shifts are based at our Burwood East and Doncaster East clinics, however flexibility to work across all locations is essential.
