Service Coordinator

Intelife is looking for a caring, organised and motivated Service Coordinator to join our team in Mandurah. This is a rewarding role where you will work alongside supported employees to help coordinate their employment, support their individual work goals, and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace.

As a Service Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting employees on their employment journey. You will help coordinate day-to-day employment activities, work with families, guardians and other stakeholders, and provide practical support that enables people to grow in confidence, develop work skills and achieve their goals.

This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing people-focused support with coordination and administration, and who is confident working both independently and as part of a team.

This role requires someone who has:  

• Experience supporting or working with people living with disability
• A genuine interest in employment pathways, skill development and inclusive workplaces
• The ability to coordinate employment activities and support people to achieve their work goals
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• A caring, supportive and team-oriented approach
• Good communication and stakeholder relationship skills
• The ability to adapt to change, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Experience working with people from diverse social, financial and cultural backgrounds
• The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
• Experience training or supporting staff
• An understanding of compliance, safeguarding and support frameworks

Essential criteria  

• Experience supporting or working with people living with disability
• Experience supervising, coordinating or supporting staff
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Alignment with Intelife’s Vision, Mission and Values
• A satisfactory Police Clearance
• A current NDIS Disability Worker Screening clearance, or the ability to obtain one

Desirable criteria 

• Working knowledge of the NDIS
• Knowledge of the SWS wage assessment system
• A relevant Certificate or Diploma qualification
• Experience or knowledge in commercial services, supported employment or social enterprise environments

We ask that you:   

• Have a current WA driver’s licence
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (HLTAID003 or above) or be willing to obtain one
• Have a Working with children check, or be willing to obtain one
• Be willing to complete any further background checks as required by Intelife
• Be prepared to participate in a pre-employment medical questionnaire
