ABOUT THE ROLE:
· Location: South West Region
· Full Time, 12 hour days, M-F
· Leading a team of 12+ staff on shift to deliver the site security requirements.
· Salary $100,000 p.a.
· Security Services Industry Award (SSIA)

Wilson Security is expanding in Perth, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of Western Australia. This growth has created new roles within our Perth team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to join our team. The Security Manager will oversee daily security operations in the South West.
Your core responsibilities will encompass Access Control, CCTV Operations, Patrolling, and Alarm Response, while also focusing on stakeholder engagement and strict adherence to contractual obligations. This role requires a strong leader who can ensure optimal results through effective team management, operational efficiency, and high-level compliance within a variety of settings.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Team Management
· Supervise and support teams of Security Officers, setting clear expectations and maintaining high standards in line with Wilson Security requirements.
· Conduct regular team briefings, manage performance development, and provide feedback to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
· Create a positive team culture through open communication and inclusive leadership, fostering professionalism and resilience in alignment with the shift in operational focus.
· Contract and Operational Management
· Oversee daily operations in Access Control, CCTV monitoring, Patrolling, and Alarm Response.
· Drive process improvements and efficiencies in security protocols and team performance.

Stakeholder Engagement and Compliance
· Build strong relationships with local stakeholders.
· Maintain rigorous adherence to health, safety, and security standards.

Administrative and Technical Skills
· Demonstrate advanced computer skills, including document production, meeting facilitation, and reporting.
· Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and generate reports to support Client and Wilson Security operations.
· Utilize scheduling systems effectively and maintain awareness of the Security Services Industry Award 2020.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We seek a dedicated and experienced security professional with:
· Ideally 2+ years of security leadership experience managing large teams in high-profile, high-security environments.
· A high level of Security Awareness
· Understanding of working culture and operational requirements
· Proficiency in Access Control, CCTV Operations, Patrolling, and Incident Response.
· Ability to interpret the Security Services Industry Award 2020.
· Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills for effective communication in a classified setting.
· Advanced computer skills for policy management, scheduling, and reporting.
· An initiative-taking approach to cultural and operational shifts, with a focus on driving positive change within the team and broader site operations.
