Barclay Pearce Capital is seeking an experienced Telemarketer to join our team.This is a phone-based client engagement role focused on generating and qualifying leads, re-engaging existing and prospective clients, and connecting suitable opportunities with our Advisors and Portfolio Manager.
We are looking for someone who is confident on the phone, understands financial services and knows how to build genuine relationships and identify opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to prospective and existing clientsRe-engage clients and prospects within our existing databaseGenerate and qualify new leadsIdentify client interest and potential opportunitiesConnect qualified opportunities with our Advisors and Portfolio ManagerFollow up previous enquiries, leads and client conversationsMaintain accurate call notes, follow-ups and client information in our CRMWork closely with our Asset Management team.Meet agreed call, engagement and lead-generation targets
About You
Minimum 3 years' experience within financial services is essentialPrevious experience in client engagement, business development, lead generation, telemarketing or a similar phone-based roleExperience may include banking, wealth management, stockbroking, investment management, financial advice, capital markets, lending or other relevant areas within the broader financial services industryStrong understanding of the financial services environmentConfident and professional phone mannerExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsComfortable speaking with investors and prospective clientsStrong follow-up and organisational skillsSelf-motivated, proactive and results-driven
