Assistant Extruder Operators - Leeton (CopRice)

About the role

Two permanent full-time opportunities exist for Assistant Extruder Operator to join the team at CopRice Leeton. The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team and responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Extruder and ancillary equipment of the Extrusion plant, ensuring production requirements are met on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

• Complete shift operating tasks safely

• Follow production plans and adjust to meet changes in product demand and ingredient supply

• Ensure plant and equipment are operated and maintained to standard

• Ensure food safety compliance of ingredients and finished products

• Operate Forklift

About you

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

• Forklift licence essential, or you must be willing to obtain one

• Mechanical Aptitude (will be assessed)

• Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping and bending required throughout the shift

• Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools

• Ability to learn new processes quickly and trouble shoot difficulties whilst maintaining quality standards

• Competent computer skills

• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal customers/team members
