Customer Service Officer - Mt Isa, QLD

The Role

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our Mt Isa Branch team!

This is a sales-focused role where you'll build relationships with customers, provide product guidance, and deliver exceptional service across both trade and industrial environments. Creating a great customer service experience, your ability to understand their requirements, recommend suitable solutions, and create a positive customer experience will be key to your success.

This is a full- time permanent opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide outstanding customer service and sales support to trade and industrial customers
• Build strong relationships with both business and retail customers, identifying opportunities to add value
• Assist customers with product enquiries, quotations, and solution-based recommendations
• Process sales transactions and support customers throughout their purchasing journey
• Support stock replenishment, inventory management, and merchandising activities
• Operate a forklift safely to move and manage stock as required
• Identify and escalate customer or operational issues when required

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience in industrial sales , customer service, and/or a similar capacity
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset
• A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach
• A current Forklift Licence (LF) is preferred
• Experience working with industrial, safety, maintenance, or trade products is an advantage
