Assistant Venue Manager

Mamasita is an institutional Melbourne dining hotspot known for fast-paced, high-energy modern Mexican food and drinks, and outstanding service.

We're looking for a passionate, high-energy Assistant Manager to join our professional management team, leading venue operations alongside the Venue Manager and covering their days off.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and has a genuine passion for looking after our team and guests.

What you'll bring to the table:

• At least 1 year of duty or assistant venue manager experience in a high-volume (300+ covers on a busy service), professional venue

• Strong leadership under pressure

• Confidently lead and support our FOH team to deliver truly outstanding guest experiences to everyone who comes through our doors

• A stickler for detail and rules - we have one way we run things at Julietta, and you're responsible for leading and maintaining these standards

• An energetic, upbeat personality where the glass is always half full

What you'll be doing:

• Lead venue operations alongside the Venue Manager and run services in their absence

• Be a key part of the venue management team, contributing to the ongoing evolution and improvement of all aspects of Mamasita

• Assist with the training and development of our FOH team by hosting team training sessions and working 1:1 with team members

• Help shape and contribute to a positive, collaborative, and tight team culture
