Retail Ready Meat Supervisor - Sarina

We are currently looking for a highly motivated full time Retail Ready Meat Supervisor to work with Cornetts IGA in our Sarina store.  You will have the opportunity to work in a Meat Department, learn new skills, work with a great team of interesting and friendly people, and meet and help out customers in an exciting environment. You may be required to work a rotational roster which may include weekends and public holidays.

Note: This role does not require butcher qualifications, as the meat is pre-packaged.

Essential Criteria

1. Experience working with fresh foods, preferably in meat or deli

2. Excellent organisational skills

3. Excellent time management skills

4. Understanding of inventory management, waste control and gross profit margins

5. Be reliable and hard working

6. Have a passion for customer service and be able to demonstrate friendly customer service skills (customer service experience highly regarded)

7. Show how you are able to listen to instructions and take on feedback constructively.

8. Manage and Supervise a small team

9. Demonstrate personal integrity

Preferred Criteria

1. Able to use Microsoft programs

2. Basic understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and food safety regulations

3. Understanding of ordering, GP and inventory management
