SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – AGRIBUSINESS ADVISORY – BILOELA – NATIONAL MID-TIER FIRM – SUCCESSION, TAX & BUSINESS ADVISORY FOCUS (JOB ID 1751)

Our client is a leading mid-tier accounting and advisory firm with a strong presence across Queensland and Northern NSW. Through its specialist Agribusiness Advisory division, the firm works closely with primary producers, family enterprises, rural businesses and high-net-worth clients, delivering practical advice across taxation, succession planning, business performance and growth strategies. 

This role offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships while developing specialist expertise within one of Australia's most important industries. 

The Role: 

• Manage a portfolio of agribusiness, family business and private client relationships 

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and management reports 

• Assist clients with tax planning, business structuring and succession planning strategies 

• Deliver business advisory services focused on profitability, growth and long-term sustainability 

• Analyse business performance and identify opportunities for improvement 

• Work closely with Managers and Partners on complex client engagements 

• Liaise directly with clients, financiers, solicitors and other professional advisors 

• Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate 

• Participate in client visits, industry events and regional stakeholder engagement 

About You: 

• 3+ years' experience within Business Services or Business Advisory 

• CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion) 

• Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge 

• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for private clients and SMEs 

• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills 

• Commercially minded with an interest in agribusiness and rural enterprises 

• Proactive, organised and motivated to continue developing your advisory expertise
