Servicing a diverse client base across some of Queensland's most important industries, the firm provides tailored taxation, business advisory and strategic planning services to clients throughout the region. 

Located in Roma, a major hub for the energy, agriculture and cattle industries, the firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to take a leading role in managing client relationships, delivering advisory solutions and supporting the continued growth of the practice. This position offers a balance of technical work, client interaction and leadership responsibility, making it ideal for an accountant ready to move beyond pure compliance work. 

The Role 

• Manage a portfolio of established business and private clients 

• Review financial statements, income tax returns and compliance work 

• Deliver tax planning, business advisory and strategic consulting services 

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on operational and financial matters 

• Support workflow management and review work prepared by junior staff 

• Assist Partners with complex client engagements and business development initiatives 

• Contribute to team mentoring and capability development 

About You 

• 4+ years' experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm 

• CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion 

• Strong Business Services, Taxation and client management experience 

• Ability to manage client relationships independently 

• Strong communication and commercial problem-solving skills 

• Passion for advisory work and helping clients achieve their goals
