Operations Support Coordinator

We are seeking an Operations Support Coordinator to join our successful team based in Salisbury, QLD, on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will be responsible for providing general operational support and administration, assisting, and working with our customer service team in resolving queries.

You will also be responsible for dispatching and allocating jobs to drivers. In addition, you will be required to perform limited warehousing and freight handling tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs with a “customer first” mindset.

• Prioritises and escalates enquiries effectively.

• Effective management of customer and customer service expectations.

• Assist Franchisees with freight sorting as required.

• Address, and repair freight miss-sorts and ensure freight is making connections, monitor and address cage stacking issues.

• Excellent written and oral communication. Capable of using a variety of styles appropriate to the audience and/or situation.

• Has excellent interpersonal skills capable of interacting effectively with a variety of personalities.

• Daily reporting and data collection

• Understands that quality data and record keeping is key to long-term performance improvements.

• Identify customer needs and preferences and recommend process improvements.

About you:

• Previous experience working as an Operations Support Coordinator or similar role

• Experience in Transport and Logistics, is highly desirable.

• A strong passion for delivering high quality service outcomes.

• Proven customer service experience.

• Effective communication skills, written and verbal.

• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
