Tyre Service Person

Kal Tire Mining Tire Group Australia are seeking two permanent, full time Tyre Service Persons for our site based at George Fisher Mine, QLD. About the Position:

• 8/6 roster, 12-hour Variable Day and Night Shifts

• Paid FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville

• Perform all aspects of LV, HV and OTR tyre fitting in a mining environment

• Complete tyre inspections, pressure maintenance, tyre rotations and wheel assembly fitment

• Remove, repair and refit earthmoving tyres and rims in the workshop and field

• Conduct pre-start inspections and maintain tyre fitting tools and equipment

• Maintain accurate tyre maintenance records and assist with tyre and rim data collection

• Identify and report tyre damage risks and unsafe conditions

• Maintain tyre bay facilities to a high standard

• Work closely with site teams to achieve contractual KPIs while promoting Kal Tire's Journey to Zero philosophy

This is a full time, permanent position based at George Fisher Mine, offered FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville.

About You:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Tyre Service Person or Earthmover Tyre Fitter

• Current Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing with OTR Tyre Maintenance Competencies

• Current HRWL/LF (Forklift) Licence and MR Driver's Licence

• Experience working within a mining or heavy industry environment

• Strong understanding of earthmoving tyre maintenance and tyre failure analysis

• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship

• Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a high-performing team

• Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
