Pizza Chef

Capiche Restaurant in East Ballina is keen for a new and experienced pizza chef to join our team. This a la cartè restaurant and authentic Italian pizzeria, initially is offering a casual position. 1-3 shifts a week.  However the Far East Company is on the grow, and for those looking to expand their skills and develop into more senior roles, we have those opportunities around the corner with more venues on the horizon.

The venue is located right on Lighthouse Beach in East Ballina. The first floor Bar/restaurant is surrounded by ocean views, with the waves crashing below. Head down to the ground floor on your break, and feel the sand beneath your toes, and paddle out for a wave.

This refurbished beauty, with a newly installed woodfired pizza oven, will serve delicious authentic italian pizzas, and range of delicious fresh italian dishes from the main kitchen.

Whilst the Far East Company expects a strong work ethic and commitment, they also recognise the need for a positive work/life balance to allow for premium work conditions and job satisfaction.  And for those from afar looking for a potential seachange, East Ballina is a beautiful, up and coming area, just a hop and skip down the road from the iconic Byron Bay.
