About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Consultant to join our team at our Springwood, Queensland location. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in achieving our sales targets and delivering outstanding customer experiences. As a Sales Consultant, you will be the face of Cricks Highway, building relationships with customers and guiding them through their vehicle purchasing journey. This role is essential to our business growth and success, as you will directly contribute to our revenue generation and customer satisfaction metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting customers in a professional and welcoming manner, understanding their needs and preferences

• Conducting product consultations and providing detailed information about our vehicle inventory, features and benefits

• Identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable vehicles that match their needs and budget

• Preparing quotations and negotiating sales terms to close deals effectively

• Managing the sales process from initial inquiry through to contract completion

• Maintaining detailed customer records and follow-up communications

• Achieving individual and team sales targets consistently

• Participating in product training and staying up-to-date with inventory and market trends

• Supporting the after-sales process and promoting customer loyalty and repeat business

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within automotive retail or a similar customer-facing sales environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers

• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to resolving issues

• Proficiency in using sales systems and computer software, including Microsoft Office applications

• A valid driver's licence and willingness to undertake test drives with customers

• High level of personal presentation and professional demeanour

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously

• Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a genuine interest in vehicles

• Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team member
