Lead the marketing strategy for one of Australia's most iconic island destinations; the World Heritage-Listed K’gari (Fraser Island) 
   
The Opportunity

KBRV Group is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the strategic and operational marketing function across Kingfisher Bay Resort, K'gari Beach Resort, Tours and Marine. This is an incredible opportunity to shape the future of Queensland's most recognised tourism brand while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of living in beautiful Hervey Bay. 

Working closely with the Group General Manager, Revenue Manager and broader leadership team, you'll drive visitation, occupancy, revenue growth, direct bookings and brand awareness across multiple tourism and accommodation offerings. 
 
About the Role 

This is far more than a traditional marketing role. 

You'll be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that directly impact commercial performance, partnering with revenue management to maximise occupancy and yield, building compelling tourism packages, and strengthening the market position of our brands locally, nationally and internationally. 

You will oversee:

• Strategic marketing planning and execution
• Digital marketing, SEO, SEM and paid media
• Brand management and campaign development
• Customer acquisition and direct booking growth
• Revenue-focused marketing initiatives
• Tourism partnerships and industry engagement
• CRM, content marketing and marketing automation
• Package development and promotional strategies
• Marketing budgets and return on investment analysis
• Agency and stakeholder management 

 
Essential Skills and Experience:

• You are an accomplished marketing professional who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen.
• You know how to turn marketing investment into measurable business outcomes and can confidently work with performance data, revenue targets and occupancy forecasts to inform decision-making.  

 
You'll bring:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior marketing leadership role
• Experience within tourism, hospitality, resorts or destination marketing
• Proven success delivering integrated marketing campaigns
• Strong understanding of revenue management and demand generation
• Expertise across digital marketing channels, CRM and social media
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication skills, ability to influence 
• A data-driven and results-focused approach
• Experience working in a complex multi-functional business and meeting competing demands
• Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Business, Tourism or Hospitality Management
