Barre Instructor

We’re looking for an inspiring Barre Instructor to lead energetic, low-impact barre classes that fuse elements of Pilates, dance, yoga, and strength training. This role is perfect for a confident instructor who thrives in a premium environment and loves helping others build strength, grace, and confidence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Class Delivery

* Teach safe, engaging, and well-structured Barre classes for all fitness levels

* Provide clear instruction on form, alignment, and movement execution

* Offer modifications and progressions to suit individual needs

Member Engagement

* Create a welcoming and empowering studio environment

* Arrive prepared and engage with members before and after class

* Promote a positive member experience and encourage class retention and participation

* Represent FIT’s luxury service standards in every interaction

Professional Standards

* Stay informed on current fitness trends and Barre best practices

* Maintain impeccable presentation and studio readiness

* Uphold health and safety protocols at all times

* Collaborate with the Group Fitness team and support FIT’s holistic wellness culture

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

* Certification in Barre instruction or recognised group fitness certification (e.g. Barre Above, BootyBarre, Xtend Barre, Les Mills Barre, etc.)

* CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)

* Prior Barre teaching or related group fitness classes preferred

* Strong knowledge of body mechanics and functional movement

* Excellent communication,motivational, and interpersonal skills

* A passion for wellness and a professional, team-oriented approach
