• Studying engineering drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
• Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
• • Performing MIG, STICK and TIG welding
  • Operating automatic mandrel bender machines
  • Operating of milling and lathe machine
  • Operating automatic pinch rolls machine
  • Organise and supervise the daily operations of the workshop
  • Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
  • Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand tools and 80 tonne brake press machine
  • Cold saw cutting and guillotine cutting
  • Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions
  • Carrying out visual inspection welding reports for quality assurance of our manufactured products
  • Designing program instructions and developing coding for CNC Bodor i7 laser cutting machine
  • Gain knowledge of fabricating over 500 different product and follow technical drawings for bespoke products
  • Forklift license
  • Drivers license
  • • Salary: $95,680 + super;

Skill & Experience

• • Experience required: AQF Certificate III including at least two years employment experience or minimum 3 years employment experience may substitute for qualification;
