We’re seeking a driven, detail orientated Credit Analyst to join our highly successful Mortgage Brokerage and work directly with the Principal Broker in our North Sydney office.

As Credit Analyst to the Principal Broker your position is critical to the smooth function of the business. You will be responsible for proactively liaising with the Principal Broker and performing thorough initial credit assessments of clients, ensuring applications receive the highest standards of quality and compliance.

• Manage the Principal Broker’s credit related client enquiries via phone and email correspondence ensuring the highest standard of customer interaction

• Communicate with new leads and applications conducting a credit and finance discovery before issuing the “Hello pack”

• Review client financial statements, assess overall financial positions and accurately calculate borrowing capacity prior to submission

• Identify optimal lending solutions whilst maintaining strict BID compliance per client file

• Prepare high-quality handover notes for the Principal Broker, presenting various lending solutions per client file, with detailed and compliance driven credit options

• Attend client meetings with the Principal Broker where required

• Prior experience as a Credit Analyst within financial services, ideally within broking, mobile lending, or personal finance

• Precise credit analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial documentation accurately and present it succinctly

• Comprehensive understanding of lender policies across the panel, including Best Interest Duty (BID) obligations and responsible lending standards

• Strong communication skills to represent Loan Market Select professionally

• Exceptional organisational skills along with the ability to manage time effectively with conflicting priorities

• Hybrid Work Flexibility: Work from our North Sydney office 2-3 days per week and work-from-home options for the remainder
