Sales Administrator

We are a fast-growing FMCG company located in major Australian cities specializing in the importing and distribution of Asian food products to Australian and New Zealand markets. An opportunity exists in Western Sydney, for an experienced Sales Administrator to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Support Mainstream business service customer orders across multiple accounts in a complete and timely manner. Develop customers where appropriate under the guidance of account manager’s and support the sales team to achieve team objectives.

Sales Order Management & Process Development:

• Management of customer orders per direction of sales management covering off: Woolworths, Coles, Costco, Endeavour, Independent accounts and others where required

• EDI implementation where possible for accounts of operation

• Develop best in class customer service for the account across the various channels under operation

• Work as a back-up for others in the team to support customer orders during annual leave or absences

Mainstream Business Administration and Reporting:

• Support ABM with ad-hoc reporting and analysis requirements during key times of the month – month end and budget builds.

• Collection of field sales information for the business communication and sharing (field photographs, competitor intelligence)

• Set up new accounts and business based on management direction

General:

• Maintain cleanliness, tidiness and general presentation of work area

• Assist with any ad hoc duties as directed by the Business Manager

• General timely reporting to Business Manager

General Administration:

• Performs clerical and administrative support duties for the department including filing, maintenance of records and files and other duties as required by the Manager

Skills Required (Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus):

• Driving license

• 2-3 years customer service experience;

• Proficient at using computers and the required applications, Excellent Excel Skills and working with customer EDI Systems.;

• Excellent verbal & written communication, negotiation skills, including rapport building;

• Strong time management and organisational skills;

• Effective problem solving skills with the capability of developing solutions to increase efficiency & improve service delivery to customers;

• Exceptional listening and customer service skills;

• Numerical and trade maths confident;

• Articulate, personable, friendly and a self-starter
