DESCRIPTION
This role leads the delivery of strategic and
operational workforce capability, organisational performance and contemporary
HR practice across Council. You will shape and implement workforce planning,
organisational design, change management, performance frameworks and workforce
analytics that strengthen Council’s ability to attract, develop and retain high‑quality
talent.
Leading a team of 2 HR Business Partners and 2 HR Generalists,
you will foster strong collaboration within the broader People & Culture
team and work closely with Directors, Managers and the Executive Team. You will
steer a HR partnering team towards improving workforce performance and organisational
workforce goals through considered and tailored initiatives for various
workforce segments. As an expert in your field you will provide high‑level
advice, drive organisational reform, uplift leaders personnel management
capability and deliver innovative people solutions. The role must ensure that
Council meets all statutory, industrial and policy requirements
This is an opportunity to influence organisation‑wide
workforce strategy, embed modern people practices and drive meaningful cultural
and performance outcomes across Council through a high performing HR partnering team.
