 VETUS-Maxwell have been market leaders in Marine Equipment and Anchoring Solutions worldwide for over 60 years.  With a reputation for skill, reliability and experience, we are currently seeking the services of an experienced, motivated Internal Technical Sales / Customer Service Representative who will join our small, dedicated team based at Capalaba. 

 You will ideally possess,

·         Basic Technical knowledge of Marine products, (Preferred, but NOT essential)

·         Technical background or sales experience in various fields such as Marine, Automotive, Industrial equipment. (Preferred, but NOT essential)

·         Proven sales and customer service skills including preparing and submitting quotes and sales orders. (Preferred, but NOT essential)

·         Sound Computer skills

·         Excellent phone manner

·         Ability to work in a team environment

·         Willingness to learn

·         Positive attitude, high work ethic

Duties of this role include but are not limited to,

 ·         Perform in-house sales duties by proactively responding to counter, telephone, written and e-mailed enquiries for both Sales and technical product support. 

·         Raising customer quotes and follow up

·         The ability to diagnose & solve technical issues, by phone where possible.

·         Customer order entry, raising of pick slips and creating invoices

·         Creation of purchase orders

·         Liaise with purchasing and warehouse

·         Daily management of customer orders

·         Attend trade shows
