Draftsperson – Remedial Facade and Waterproofing

Endeavour Engineering is a remedial consultancy delivering regulated designs, expert evidence and superintendency services across NSW. We work on occupied residential buildings and diagnose defects in façades, waterproofing systems and structural elements. Our drawings support litigation-grade reporting, contractor pricing, construction sequencing and statutory obligations under the Design and Building Practitioners Act.

Due to sustained growth across our remedial and superintendency portfolios, we are creating a new drafting role to meet the increased volume of façade, waterproofing and structural repair documentation for our Western Sydney Office. This work is not new-build drafting. You will document existing buildings, interpret intrusive investigation findings and prepare practical, buildable details aligned with Australian Standards, the NCC and established remedial practice.

The role includes preparing demolition plans, marked-up details, façade and waterproofing repair details, slab-edge rectification details, flashing arrangements, balcony remediation layouts, balustrade replacement documentation and DA or CC-ready drawing sets where required. You will work directly with engineers and project managers and document works delivered in live, constrained environments.

You need strong AutoCAD capability and experience documenting façades, cladding, waterproofing, structural repairs or other remedial work on existing buildings. You need to read engineers’ sketches and convert investigations into clear drawings that contractors can price and build. Accuracy and consistency are essential.

You must be comfortable reviewing site photos, CCTV footage, invasive investigation notes and test results to ensure the drawings reflect actual site conditions. You need to manage your own deadlines and take responsibility for the quality of your outputs.
