Business System Support Officer

An exciting opportunity has opened within our IT team for a Business Systems Support Officer with strong hands-on Pronto Xi support experience and excellent analytical problem solving skills. This full-time, hands-on role will support business users, investigate ERP issues, monitor integrations, and contribute to Pronto-related improvement projects within a collaborative environment. What you'll be doing:

• Triaging, logging, and resolving service desk tickets. Troubleshooting common issues, applying standard fixes, and escalating complex technical matters.

• Monitoring interfaces between Pronto Xi and connected platforms, while also investigating any failed transactions and data mismatches.

• Developing SOPs, user guides, and training materials to improve end-user adoption and minimise recurring issues.

• Maintaining user access controls, processing account creations/terminations, and assisting with basic system configuration.

• Assisting with requirements gathering, UAT, release checks, and deployment documentation for ERP updates and project implementations.

What we're looking for:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting Pronto Xi in a dedicated business systems, application support, or ERP support role, including incident triage, root-cause investigation, user support, reporting/data checks, and escalation of complex Pronto issues.

• Working knowledge of SQL, reporting concepts, and basic programming skills a distinct advantage. Ability to investigate data issues, validate transactions, interpret system behaviour, and support troubleshooting across core Pronto modules and integrations.

• Demonstrated strong analytical and diagnostic capability to analyse and resolve Pronto ERP support issues, including process errors and data discrepancies identifying root causes, assess business impact, test solutions, identify system integration issues, reporting variances, and user workflow problems across finance, inventory, procurement, sales, or operational modules.

• Comfortable running, validating, and supporting standard reports using Power BI or similar tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
