Toowoomba Family Wellness Centre is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Casual Chiropractic Assistant / Receptionist to join our team.

This position would suit someone who enjoys working with people, is confident communicating with patients and can help create a welcoming and professional experience from the moment someone walks through the door.

About the role

The position will initially be 8 hours every Saturday, with the opportunity to take on additional days and hours for the right person based on performance, reliability and the needs of the clinic.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and managing the front desk

• Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries

• Booking and managing appointments

• Taking payments and completing general reception duties

• Helping keep the clinic organised, clean and running smoothly

• Communicating with chiropractors and other practitioners throughout the day

• Providing excellent customer service and making patients feel comfortable and looked after

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and confident with people

• Reliable and punctual

• Organised and able to multitask

• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems

• Professional in presentation and communication

• Able to work independently and take initiative

• Interested in health, wellness or working in a healthcare environment

Previous reception, administration, customer service or healthcare experience would be beneficial, but the right attitude, personality and willingness to learn are more important.

Hours

Initially Saturdays, approximately 8 hours per week.

There is genuine potential for more days and hours in the future for someone who performs well and becomes a valuable part of the team.
