About StarmasterStarmaster is a Melbourne-based not-for-profit startup delivering professional education programs for individuals entering the Space, Defence and Deep-Tech industries.Our mission is to develop the next generation of space and deep technology professionals through innovative, industry-focused education programs that help build Australia's future workforce.As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic junior professional to help strengthen our brand, expand our industry presence and support student enrolments across our growing education portfolio. About the RoleThis is a casual, flexible and predominantly remote position offering an excellent opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in digital marketing, promotions and media.While most activities can be undertaken remotely, applicants should ideally be based in Melbourne to support campaign coordination, attend occasional meetings and participate in selected promotional and industry activities.This is an important growth role within Starmaster. The successful candidate will play a key part in increasing our market visibility, strengthening industry engagement and supporting student enrolments as we continue to launch and expand our education programs.
Key Responsibilities· Refine, coordinate and execute digital marketing and promotional activities.· Support the development of marketing collateral, digital content and visual assets.· Coordinate and support digital media and promotional campaigns across multiple channels.· Manage relationships with external agencies and service providers.· Research industry forums, events, networks and promotional opportunities.· Support website administration and digital content updates.· Assist with student engagement and enrolment activities.· Build relationships with industry bodies, government agencies and space-sector organisations.· Provide general administrative, planning and coordination support across the organisation.· Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support the broader Starmaster team as required.
Skills and ExperienceWe're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working independently.Experience in one or more of the following areas would be highly regarded:Digital marketing.Social media management.Marketing communications.Content creation.Media engagement.Press-release writing.Project administration or project coordination.You will also have:Excellent planning and organisational skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.A flexible, collaborative and self-motivated approach to work.Experience within the education, science, technology, defence or space sectors is highly desirable.
