Experienced section waiter

Louie is a neighbourhood restaurant in Coogee, just across from the beach, serving a modern Italian menu in a casual but elevated setting. We are a busy restaurant that has been open for the past 4 years going from strength to strength.

We're looking for experienced wait staff who can take a section, own it, and make it look easy. People that have a genuine passion for food, service and hospitality excellence.

What the job actually looks like

    •    Running your own section and leading the floor alongside our management team — reading a room before it needs you, keeping your team calm and moving, being the person who fixes the thing before the guest has to mention it.

    •    Talking guests through the menu with real knowledge — what's in it, why we cook it that way, what to drink with it — and setting the standard for how everyone else on the floor does the same.

    •    You know your way around a wine list and can genuinely recommend, not just recite.

    •    You're warm with guests without being scripted — you actually like people.

    •    You get a kick out of a table leaving happier than they arrived.
