Position Overview

Our Team Leaders are responsible for working alongside the Regional Manager and Coordinator in managing our Participant Journey and to provide regular guidance to our Mentors to better deliver support. The duties of the Team Leader include but are not limited to:

• Assist the coordination of casual staff rosters through Shift Care system. 
• Provide direct participant support.
• Facilitate new Mentor onboarding. 
• Collaboratively establish Participant Support Plans.
• Oversee day-to-day support provided by support workers/mentors.
• Action weekly referral process under the Regional Coordinator and Regional Manager’s directive.
• Attend and deliver meet and greets with participants and their carers/families.

Qualifications and/ ideal attributes

• An appropriate certificate relevant to the discipline of service provision or willing to obtain.
• Prior experience in the discipline of service provision.
• Knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the NDIS.
• A strong personal brand displaying a strong set of values, integrity and a commitment to professionalism and accountability.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to bring people together.
• High level written and oral communication skills.
• Current Driver’s License. 
• Completed NDIS Worker Screening process.
• Completed Working with Children check.
• Current National Police Check or willing to obtain.
