With this strategy now in place, the firm is experiencing an exciting period of growth. As a result, we are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant in either our Sydney CBD or Cronulla office who enjoys hands‑on work, client interaction, and being a trusted part of the delivery team.
About the RoleThis is a multi discipline role working across CFO advisory and Business Services, working on management accounts, dashboard reporting, prepare budgets and three-way forecasts, and acting as a key point of contact on ad-hoc business advisory client questions.Be an integral part of the end-to-end delivery of client engagements, contributing to planning, execution and direct client communication with support from Managers.Review financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individualsReview income tax returns across all entity typesReview BAS, IAS, and FBT returns in line with legislative and ATO requirementsPrepare end of year tax planning, year end reconciliations and support tax calculations and disclosuresWork directly with clients to explain financial and tax outcomes in plain EnglishIdentify risks, issues, and opportunities and escalate appropriately to Managers or PartnersAssisting with transactional work and supporting Partners on due diligence work and client modeling requirements from time to timeDevelop their research and critical thinking to provide solution focused outcomes for clients
About YouConfident communicator who enjoys working directly with clientsA curious mindset and a genuine hunger to learn, combined with a desire to build their knowledge and understanding to deliver better outcomes for clients.CA or CPA qualified, or working towards qualificationMinimum 2 years’ experience in a public practice professional services accounting firmStrong experience in business services tax complianceSound working knowledge of Australian income tax, GST, and FBTHigh attention to detail with a practical, commercial mindset
This role can be based in either our Sydney CBD or Cronulla office based on your preference.
