Mechanical Fitter - FULL TIME PERMANENT ROLE ROTATING SHIFT ROLE

Thermoformer and MULTIVAC Experience is required for this role.

A competitive hourly rate and additional penalties are on offer to the right candidate who is also prepared to work weekends and overtime as required.

An opportunity has arisen to appoint suitably qualified multi skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our progressive maintenance team on a permanent full time basis on a rotating day/afternoon shift. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in maintaining and supporting a range of high speed processing and packaging equipment and other meat manufacturing equipment.

The successful applicant will also possess:-

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with trouble shooting and problem solving

• The flexibility in regards to working hours which may include working overtime and weekends

• The expertise and right attitude to contribute effectively to the Maintenance Team with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role

• Trade qualifications

• High level of numeracy and literacy skills

• Permanent Residency Status

• Looking for long term employment.

Previous food industry experience and knowledge of steam raising and refrigeration plant would be a distinct advantage.
