Telehealth Doctor - Peptides, Metabolic Health & Longevity Medicine - Remote

About the role

Consulta is a new Australian telehealth platform connecting patients and clinics with doctors experienced in emerging, preventative and personalised areas of medicine.

100% remote - Flexible availability - Potential consultation earnings equivalent to $210-$280 per hour when fully booked

This is not a traditional general practice position.

We are looking for doctors who already have experience, knowledge or a strong professional interest in peptide therapies, medical weight management, metabolic health, hormone optimisation and longevity medicine.

Doctors choose their own days, hours and availability, with no requirement to maintain traditional clinic hours.

Consultations are generally 20 minutes and patients can come through participating clinics or directly through the Consulta public platform.

Doctors also have the opportunity to build an ongoing patient network through repeat consultations, follow-ups and referrals within the platform.

Earning potential

Consulta is designed to provide doctors with both flexibility and strong earning potential.

When consultation slots are fully booked, consultation earnings can equate to approximately $210-$280 per hour.

For example:

60 consultations per week: $4,200

80 consultations per week: $5,600

100 consultations per week: $7,000

100 consultations represents approximately 33 hours and 20 minutes of consultation time, excluding associated administration.

There is no requirement to complete these volumes. Doctors determine their own availability and can use Consulta for a few additional hours each week or build a substantial telehealth workload.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality telehealth consultations within your areas of clinical expertise

• Assess patients and independently determine appropriate treatment options

• Make all prescribing decisions in accordance with your own clinical judgement and applicable professional requirements

• Consult with patients referred through participating clinics and the Consulta public platform

• Provide appropriate follow-up care for returning patients

• Build an ongoing patient network through quality care, follow-ups and referrals

• Determine your own availability and consultation volume

• Ongoing training

• Peptide therapies

• Medical weight management

• GLP-1 based weight management

• Metabolic health

• Hormone health and optimisation

• Men's and women's health

• Longevity and preventative medicine

• Performance and recovery medicine

About you

• Appropriate Australian medical registration

• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance

• Able to satisfy relevant Australian telehealth and prescribing requirements

• Existing experience or demonstrated knowledge within one or more of the areas above

• Comfortable practising independently and exercising your own clinical judgement

• Personable and confident communicating with patients via telehealth

• Interested in modern, preventative and personalised areas of medicine
