Position Details
We’re looking for a professional and motivated Resort Administrator to join our Palm Lake Resort Forster Lakes team.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting the Resort Caretakers through a variety of administrative, financial, and customer service duties that help keep our resort running smoothly and efficiently.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday on a 38-hour week. Your work will be central to maintaining an organised and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and team members alike.
Responsibilities
Provide a warm and engaging welcome to all residents, guests and visitors.Assist with banking, mail, purchase orders, expenditure requests, and invoice preparation.Maintain and control the resort’s key register and ensure accurate record keeping.Answer telephone enquiries and perform mail-outs as required.Gather and collate data, create and maintain documents and spreadsheets, and manage printing and distribution needs.Assist with planning and co-ordination of resort functions, bistro meals, and sales events - including set-up and attendance.Produce and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, and forms.Maintain confidential records and filing systems.Manage petty cash control and reconciliation.Support the Resort Manager with general administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as required.

To excel in this role, you will bring
Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative or sales support role.Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook).Excellent organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail.A proactive, positive, and professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.Flexibility, patience, and understanding when working with elderly residents.The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.A current C-class driver’s licence.
