Primary Teacher - Year 5

Kingsway Christian College is a co-educational non-denominational Christian day school with approx. 1400 students enrolled in K-12. The College has a friendly professional team of staff, modern facilities and attractive employment conditions.

Applicants are encouraged to apply for this temporary part-time (0.8FTE - with the possibility of full-time) position commencing Term 1, 2027 for a period of 12 months to cover staff maternity leave.

Essential

• Hold academic teaching qualifications that meet the Department of Education requirements and experience as a primary school teacher, delivering the Western Australian Curriculum.

• Demonstrated commitment to personal growth, education and welfare of students.

• Able to demonstrate inter-personal and problem-solving skills, and effective communication and conflict resolution skills in dealing with students, parents and staff.

• Be an innovative, resourceful and enthusiastic teacher and leader.

• Demonstrated familiarity with a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet students’ needs and course objectives.

• Proficient and experienced in ICT and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Have an understanding of Christian Education.

• Have a range of professional strengths, abilities and interests, able to enhance the learning program.
